No. Click an attr.so link and you land on the destination URL just like any other shortener - except no cookies are dropped on the redirect, and we don't load any third-party scripts.

When a visitor clicks an attr.so shortlink, our redirect does not set any cookies in their browser and does not load any third-party scripts. We measure the click server-side from the request itself (country, device, referrer) and that's it - nothing on our side ties one click back to the same person on a future click. Note: this is about the redirect. The attr.so dashboard you sign in to does use essential session cookies, and shows a consent prompt for optional analytics/marketing cookies - that's separate from what your visitors experience.

No. Because the redirect itself stores no personal data in the visitor's browser, it does not require its own consent banner on the destination page. You should still follow whatever consent rules apply to your destination site - we just don't add a new reason to ask. (Separately, when you visit attr.so as a logged-in user, the dashboard uses essential session cookies and shows a consent prompt for optional analytics, which is a different thing.)

Two things. First, we don't sneak ad-network or social trackers onto the redirect - no Facebook Pixel, no Google Analytics, no LinkedIn beacon, nothing that lets a third party follow your visitor afterwards. Second, we never sell, share, or syndicate your click data to anyone. The insight is yours; your visitor's browsing stays theirs.

Every action you can take in the dashboard - creating links, pulling analytics, archiving, posting back conversions - is also a REST endpoint, and click events stream out over signed webhooks. So you can wire Attr.so into your own backend, CRM, or internal tools without copy-pasting from a UI.

It's optional. The extension lets you shorten the current tab in two clicks, but the dashboard, API, and CSV import all work without it.

Anything that takes a webhook. We ship native postback formats for Stripe, Shopify, HubSpot, Segment, and PostHog. Generic JSON works for everything else.

A 0-100 score per link that flags bot traffic, prefetch hits, and obvious referrer spoofing. Great for spotting affiliate fraud before it skews your reports.

Existing short links keep redirecting - they never break. You just can't create new ones until the next billing cycle, or until you upgrade.

Per plan: 7 days on free, 30 days on Pro, 180 days on Growth, 365 days on Expert, and unlimited on Enterprise. Visitor raw IPs are stripped from every row within 30 days regardless of plan, so the data we retain is already aggregate-friendly.

Yes. We don't sell, syndicate, or train on your data. Encrypted at rest, TLS in transit, raw visitor IPs stripped from click logs within 30 days. EU data residency is on the roadmap for Expert and Enterprise plans - contact us if your team needs it before launch.

14 days from the date of purchase. If a Lifetime Deal is not the right fit, email billing@attr.so within 14 days for a full refund. After the 14-day window, lifetime means lifetime - and the price is locked even if our list price changes.

We do not issue refunds on monthly or yearly subscriptions, including unused time on an annual plan. You can cancel any time from Settings > Billing - your access continues to the end of the current billing period, and you won't be charged again.
